STEPHANIE J. SHULMAN is a founding partner of shulman bunn LLP. Her practice has evolved from over 20 years as a litigator for two of the top five national title insurance companies. She has tried cases throughout the State of California. Ms. Shulman also managed a legal department responsible for claims administration and litigation as Sr. Vice-President/Regional Counsel for a major title insurance company. Ms. Shulman was the successful trial and appellate attorney in three published cases: Wilson v. Steele (1989) 211 Cal. App. 3d 1053; Vershbow v. Reiner (1991) 231 Cal. App. 3d 879; and Hellweg v. Cassidy (1998) 61 Cal. App. 4th 806.
RICHARD A. BUNN is a founding partner of shulman bunn LLP. His practice focuses on all phases of civil litigation, including mediation, arbitration, trial and appellate work. In his over 20 years of practice, he has handled complex litigation bringing cases to conclusion via summary judgment. Mr. Bunn has collected over $20M in settlements and judgments for clients. He has briefed and argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit and Ninth Circuit and the California Courts of Appeal, obtaining the relief sought. He has tried cases to verdict in state, federal district and bankruptcy courts. He has litigated with resources of a small firm against the largest firms in the United States. Mr. Bunn applies his tremendous and sophisticated litigation background to all types of litigation and procedural issues.
ROBERT S. DAVIS began his legal career in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corp where he developed his tried and true trial techniques in defending servicemen subject to court martial. After leaving the Army, he became interested in civil litigation focusing for the last 25 years on real property litigation. He has worked for two of the top five national title insurance companies as in-house litigator, Regional Counsel and General Counsel.
PATRICIA M. SNYDER is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University where she received her B.A. in 1979 and her J.D. in 1982. She has practiced law in California since December of 1982. Ms. Snyder is also licensed to practice in Colorado. She has over twenty eight years of experience primarily in real property and general business litigation. Ms. Snyder has expertise in complex litigation including class action securities litigation, ownership rights along the California coastline and business torts. She has represented numerous financial institutions in the state, federal and bankruptcy courts. Her jury trial experience includes a nine month real estate fraud trial in San Francisco. Ms. Snyder has represented clients in federal courts and the Ninth Circuit. Before the Ninth Circuit, she helped establish precedent relating to secondary liability in federal securities law in Wright v. Schock, 571 F.Supp. 642 (N.D. Cal. 1983), aff'd, 742 F.2d 541 (9th Cir. 1984). Four of Ms. Snyder’s successful appeals have been published.
